Wait. Alma is alive. Monique isn’t. Art’s sister died and then he said those things to Lynnette. SO, did Orson’s mom and Alma killed Monique together and framed Mike? And then Orson thought Mike really did kill Monique and that’s why he ran him over with the car (in the last season)? But why did the parrot say “no Orson, no Orson”, inmitating Alma’s voice? These twists are too much - I want to know the ending already. Then there’s Art - is this going to be the end of his character on the show? I hope so.

Speaking of taking characters off the show, what happened to the Applewhites? And then there’s Zach (and Paul) . . . is that the end of them?

That Susan is a yo-yo huh. I don’t think she will stay with Ian. Poor Ian. What a catch he is, too.

What do you think of it so far?

There’s no previews for next week. I’m assuming there aren’t going to be any new shows until… Janaury? Like last year?? Gah that’s a long while to wait.

This, and tonight’s D.H. episode

Taken from Jennifer and this website

  1. Nick :: ear
  2. Focus :: lost
  3. Police :: pig
  4. Miles :: varies
  5. Earn :: trust
  6. Twice :: listen
  7. Razor :: sharp
  8. Personality :: cool
  9. Dumped :: trash
  10. Reliable :: friend

Yes. I nicked our son’s ear (see previous post). Sigh.

Oh I have lost my focus, how could I not?! From performing Daily Diaper Duties and Tantrum Thawing and Refereeing for the last 2 years, anyone would have. Plus, I have nothing else interesting to add on any of the other words. How boring am I!! No focus. Boring. Blah.

OK. I just finished watching Desperate Housewives. That was one of the creepiest episodes yet. I think mostly because of how toward the end it showed the new neighbor’s poster in the basement. It reinforces that you just never know what people are capable of, and what hides behind closed doors. As a mother, that scene is one of the scariest things that she tries all her life to shield from her child/ren with whatever means possible. I don’t like this new twist and this new character and what he will bring to the show. Sadly this kinds of things do exist in the real world, a lot, and we as mothers and fathers just have to keep a high alert at all times.

This Orson character is beginning to bug me. There’s so much about him that they’re not revealing yet and I’m afraid none of it is going to be good.

I need to go read some wholesome book or magazine or something.

Sunday evening wind down

How convenient. I wait until late in the night to write my post, not really by choice mind you. By the time I’m done and hit “publish”, I have 4 minutes before it is midnight. Bingo - so I can do two posts every other night and still be in the nablopomo! Clever me. Hehee.

Who else thought Lynette was the one to be killed on tonight’s Desperate Housewives? From the previews last week, I really thought she was gonna go. That shows how naive and gullible I am. I suppose they ran out of interesting things for Nora and the Scavo family to squabble over and they decided to end that once and for all. I’m still waiting for them to show what happened to the Applewhites, who is the woman what Orson visits daily at the psyche ward, and if Gabby and Carlos are going to get back together.

I’m one of those people who likes to talk during shows and movies (not in theater though). I ask questions - as if Hubby is Knows It All, I talk to the characters and gesture with my hands etc. I try hard not to do that, but it is so hard! I mean, come on, lock the door and wait it out if you hear something outside instead of going around looking without even a flashlight. I don’t do well with suspense / thriller / mystery movies for a reason.
