I was gone from home the entire day today (Saturday). I attended a summit/conference event and took away some very valuable information. My only regret is, I didn’t get to talk with as many people as I would have liked. Well, another regret is, I wasn’t home to comfort our 3yo daughter who was sick and threw up three times.. and kept asking for Mama… She’s asleep now and seems to be much better towards late evening.

I’m very excited and can’t wait to put some of the things I learned today into practice.

There were also 4 very well deserved individuals who were recognized for their character, lifework, ambition, and or spirit, etc.

Overall, it was a very well-organized summit. A first of its kind in the nation, I’ve been told, and had a turnout of about 300 people, tripled their expectation! I look forward to next years’ and hopefully Hubby can attend it too.
