Speedy me
I aced Type Writing Class in junior high. No, I did not make up the class name. I remember having a sheet of paper that looked like a keyboard to practice on.
My name is Speedy.
78 words. Zero wrong.
Second attempt.
You would think with such typing skills that I would be able to post more often. It’s just I have very little coherent thoughts in my head these last few days. All the thoughts are still in there, it’s just all mushed up and not very pretty to look at or read. So instead, I hide under the shell.

In high school, I was in the 90wpm category … that was in the electric typewriter days and you just read and typed. I took the online test the other day and hit 60 with zero errors on my third attempt.
When I post, I am probably at something like 3 words per minute with many errors. It takes a lot for my thoughts to get from my head to fingers to keyboard.

I suck- 45wpm no errors. I’ve never learned to touchtype; I barely use more than both thumbs and pointers, and my right middle finger. Maybe one day…

I never took typing in high school, so since I am self taught, I am afraid to learn how much I suck at typing. (mistakes, not very fast, etc). Good for you, 78 wpm!

Hmm.. I was 64 wpm, 3 errors. Of course, the space key glued down with spilled ice-cream doesn’t help!

Hahahaha! 31 words per min. 3 errors! I did learn to touch type years and years ago. At that time I could type 55 words a min. with no errors. There is a lady where I work who competes in typing competitions. She won the smoking finger award for typing 120 words per min. no errors! My brain could not work that fast let alone my fingers.

I did this through another friend’s post, and I got 89, with 1 error. I also remember the typewriting class I took one summer in highschool with electric typewriters. Do anyone still use those things?
