Quotes Tuesday
Yesterday:
“Mama, I made a turkey at school! My turkey says gobble gobble!” — 26 month old Fiona, proudly showing me her creation immediately upon arriving home from preschool.
Today:
“We’re going to the grocery store. Who wants to go?” is met with silence.
“We’re going to buy a turkey!” I said with a tone of excitement.
“For meeeeeeee?” Fiona grinned and asked.
I hope she’s as enthused when the turkey is actually cooked and ready to be eaten, coz guess who’s the picky eater around here.

Aww, too cute! I had no idea our little girls were the same age
My Ella has become awe-struck with the gobble-gobbling turkey crafts this year too….
I hope she enjoys the turkey (the cooked that is). And hope you all have a lovely Thanksgiving

Fiona sounds very adorable, I kind of miss getting vastly exciting about things that are mundane now like: going and filling up the car with gas or riding in the front seat and playing with all the hot cold knobs until the entire windshield got frosted and I got yelled at….ah good memories!

I kept my daughter’s first “hand turkey” that she made in preschool last year. I don’t know why I was so moved by her first hand turkey. I guess it’s the first of many turkeys that she will make at school over the years. (Oh, and we don’t eat turkey, but she scarfed down our Quorn Turk’y roast.)
