Quotes Tuesday

“The trouble with doing something right the first time is that nobody appreciates how difficult it was.”

Well, this is not really a quote per se. It was from an Asian restaurant a while ago (the worst one I’ve ever been to!!!).

I really like living in a smaller city, but the thing that I miss the most is good ethnic food. As you know, I LOVE to eat, so that’s a hard adjustment.

And there’s my disjointed post for today. :-) Enjoy.

You are such an inspirational mother. We plan to have children, of course, but he spends so much time out of the country which makes it not very attainable goal. I have faith though. If it is going to happen, it will eventually. I hope you don’t mind, I would like to add your web log to my daily read list.

    Congratulation on your published interviews!

Good luck with the new business, Jennic.

I kind of like the quote. It’s a tad fortune cookie-esque, but has great truth behind it.

I can empathize with the lack of diverse food options in smaller towns. I struggled with that as well when living in the suburbs of San Diego. Sometimes, you just want spicy noodles! or a burrito,..or whatever McDonalds doesn’t serve.

Don’t stress the Crazy8’s. I’m just glad to link you in my post :)

I can identify with the lack of ethnic food. I grew up in Houston which has an amazing amount of diversity (thanks to the oil industry) and lots of great restaurants, and now live in Austin which, well, does not. In a big way. There is starting to be a little bit of hope, one positive aspect of the CA invasion, but there is still a long way to go.
