Big brother
This morning around 6a.m., our petite little Fiona tried to pull Hubby off the bed, without any success.
“Come on, I want gummy bear” is met with silence.
Seb enters the scene. He whispers to Fiona “Hi, what are you doing? Do you want gummy bears?”
“Yes.”
Seb says, “Gummy bears are all gone. Mama have to go buy some more.” (indeed, the gummy vitamins are all gone)
“I want gummy bear! Baba, come on!”
Seb, “I’ll help you. Let’s go get M&M’s.”
Both kids are SUPER SUPER early risers. They usually wake up between 5:30-6:30a.m. Every. Single. Day.

Your kids are so cute. However early risers are too much to handle sometimes. That is exactly how early my brother Alan woke up every morning. I’m sure it would have driven my parents crazy, but he was quiet and usually just put in a train movie to watch.

wonderful times, wonderful memories. Children are amusing, even at times when they are annoying us (like rising early!!). I’m impressed with big brother’s solution..substitute M&Ms for the gummy bears…very creative!!

Belle loves to use the words, “Com’n” too..hehe. My girl isn’t an early riser..she’s more like a freq riser throughout the night. *sigh*

I can see why that would work. Gummi Bear vitamins and M&Ms are almost the same thing. Except that M&Ms aren’t technically that nutritious and they’re chocolate and FULL of sugar. Otherwise they’re almost the same thing.
My youngest gets up before most others in the house everyday, but he has hated sleeping since the day he was born. The oldest doesn’t like going to sleep, but loves to sleep once he gets there.
Enjoy this brisk fall weather and the beautiful colors for the next 10 minutes. i think that’s all there is left here in Iowa.
