Fiona (16.5 months old) is not to be outdone! Below are some of her fine paintings. Her use of colors is especially noteworthy! My amazing abstract artist.

Barium sulfate drink: Yes. (may I say yuck?)
Evidence of cancer: No.
Continued remission: Priceless.
Monday, tomorrow, I’ll be heading to Mayo Clinic for a routine CT checkup. I’m 5years into remission (yay!) and at this point, I’m supposed to have a CT scan once a year. It’s been 2 years since I’ve had one done, due to pregnancy and then nursing and insurance coverage changes. I’m slightly nervous, but I think it will be OK.
I just hope they don’t make me drink the damn barium contrast this time.
I have to drive back the next day for the results. Will let you guys know when I know.
After much thought, I have decided to let go all 8 of my beautiful custom made Chinese dresses. Awwww I know… They are very stunning dresses, with cherry blossoms or phoenix or butterflies or dragons on them. The photos simply do not do them justice.
All these dresses are brand new. Custom made. Silk with silk lining (a couple do not have lining). They all have side slits on both sides - show off those gorgeous legs!!!
Email me at sweetisu@gmail.com if you’re interested in any of them or if you have questions. (Yeap that’s me without my head. And yes, the first 2 pictures are of the *same* dress!!! Hard to believe!). We’ll talk. And send the link to your friends and your friend’s friends. Help a girl and her family out. Thanks!

One of my most loyal readers, Amie, is expecting a baby girl this summer!!! Pregnancies are always very exciting news, but in this case, especially exciting since she’s having a girl for the first time. They have four lovely boys (yes, FOUR! I don’t know how she stays sane) and this will be their first time tying pigtails and putting on hair clips and all. So stop by and send them a big congratulations!
As I’ve said, I don’t know how she stays sane caring for four little boys. Not only that, she homeschools, sews, bakes her kids’ birthday cakes, cooks most if not all the family’s meals, have time to read blogs (and always takes the time to write comments), and from looking at her pictures, she keeps the house pretty clean on top of that. She’s a Supermom if there ever was one.
Congratulations Amie and family! Can’t wait to meet your little baby girl!!
