Yes. I nicked our son’s ear (see previous post). Sigh.

Oh I have lost my focus, how could I not?! From performing Daily Diaper Duties and Tantrum Thawing and Refereeing for the last 2 years, anyone would have. Plus, I have nothing else interesting to add on any of the other words. How boring am I!! No focus. Boring. Blah.

Slight Desperate Housewives spoiler

coming

up

OK. I just finished watching Desperate Housewives. That was one of the creepiest episodes yet. I think mostly because of how toward the end it showed the new neighbor’s poster in the basement. It reinforces that you just never know what people are capable of, and what hides behind closed doors. As a mother, that scene is one of the scariest things that she tries all her life to shield from her child/ren with whatever means possible. I don’t like this new twist and this new character and what he will bring to the show. Sadly this kinds of things do exist in the real world, a lot, and we as mothers and fathers just have to keep a high alert at all times.

This Orson character is beginning to bug me. There’s so much about him that they’re not revealing yet and I’m afraid none of it is going to be good.

I need to go read some wholesome book or magazine or something.

I totally agree with you about DH last night. eep. I actually was worried at first because I thought they my be making him into a love interest for Lynette and I really didn’t want that.

I used to work at a Women’s Resource center so I am far to familiar with the idea that it could be anyone, so I just usually have my eyes open for clues anyway. The second I saw that train set I knew something might be up. I have to say though I am surprised that they did go there with the show.

I must say, however I am a bit glad they did. It’s such a touchy subject and even though many times it is family members who abuse I’m glad they didn’t go out of their way to create a creepy character. This was someone we all thought we could like. He’s friendly, helpful, good with children (eek) and he saved Lynette’s life. So I am glad they are reinforcing the idea that it could be anyone and we all need to stay alert of any and all signs something could be wrong and to never ignore warning signs.

So as much as I don’t want to hear about this sort of thing and it chills me to the core I am glad that they aren’t taking the easy way out with it, though I am very nervous to see where the storyline goes.

If you need something light to read now, which I know I did feel free to check out my post for today. haha. It’s about Gwen Stefani’s new song.

Is the neighbor some kind of pedophile? If he is, than I agree that it’s good they are illustrating the point that it could be anyone.

I agree that in a way it is good they’re reenforcing the idea that it could be anyone, even ones we thought were ‘good’ people. It was disturbing and difficult to wrap my mind around, even if it’s fictional.
