Two Weeks
We did it. Sort of. It’s been two weeks. Fiona is sleeping by herself, most of the time. She cries a lot sometimes, other times she cries a few minutes. By crying, I mean mostly fussing and a little bit of crying. She’s still up every few hours in the night, which is probably mostly my fault because I give in sometimes and I’m likely confusing the heck out of her by not being consistent. But for the most part, it’s better than before. I’m getting some sleep. In fact, the other night, I had 5.5 hours of uninterrupted sleep, which has not happened in LONG time. I would love for her to sleep longer. Will see how it goes after I wean her off of the nighttime feedings, which won’t happen for another couple more months at the earliest.
I realize this is a very incoherent post. However much I’d like to be eloquent and interesting, this is all I can offer at this time.
