LOL. Okay, unfortunately, cursingmama has it right. They never really quit. And she's also right, only give two or three choices and if they say no, end of discussion. He'll cry and scream still, but in the end, I think he'll be less spoiled than if you spend time trying to coax him into saying yes. 2 year olds are starting to realize they can control their environment, and that makes them terrors. Just remember, it has to get better, or the human race wouldn't have survived as long as it has. We'd have all murdered our own young! You can do it!-->

LOL...its a stage. He will move out of it and into a new, different, hair-pulling inducing stage.

Ooooo, sorry, no advice here, I am a charter member of the CPTB club started by Sparky (another blogger). CPTB stands for Clueless Parents To Be, of course.

So I'm looking to YOU for advice Sweetisu. When you figure out how to avoid the terrifying choke/gag/vomit sequence, please let me know right away. Yeesh.

Ummm - how do I put this gently...It never really ends, they just get easier to ground & sometimes you can reason with them. Every age presents a different challenging stage and as soon as you think you've got one figured out they switch it all up on you. Children are THAT evil.
So, my advice - offer 2 or 3 choices at one time and leave it at that - he'll figure it out and move on to the next stage.

Bummer! My son is only 10 months so I don't have any tips...although I have heard that that sort of phase usually doesn't last very long.

Thanks for preparing me for what I'm in for in a few months! :)
