The Last Leg

Third trimester starts officially now.

Wow. Yikes. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Please excuse me while I hyperventilate.

Okay. Thanks.

I have yet another prescription (another category C drug!!!) for the yeast infection. I KNEW it was still around even when the doc said he couldn’t find anything for the longest time. And it was, and confirmed by the scraping a week ago. There were some insurance problems, and I have just started this new medicine today. I’m not holding my breath about this, but we’ll see how it goes. I’m guessing my hormones is way different this pregnancy than when with our son, and I may very well have to suffer YI until I give birth. Sigh.

My pelvic bone. My pelvic cartilage. You know, the area immediately below the uhhhhhh cameltoe. Can I say OUCH??? It hurts whenever I shift positions and whenever my mid section is moved (which is, constantly, during the day, and a lot during the night as well). I have a physical therapy appointment set up for next week to see if they can help. Again, not holding my breath about this as well. Oh yea, and my lower back. I can’t not mention the lower back aches.

Last of my complaints (for today), promise. I’ve been wishing summer to arrive for a long while. And now that it is here, I am not so sure I like it so much anymore. Well, I do enjoy the warmer temperature as I’m one of those weird ones who gets cold easily no matter what, even during pregnancy. However I am pretty much confined to the indoors as A) we do not have a deck / screened seasonal room B) the mosquitoes have been multiplied a bazillion times last week and they are relentless as it’s still raining a lot C) both our son and I are super allergic to mosquitoes. So booooohooooo.

    Congrats on the 3rd Trimester!!!

    Whooo hooo!!

It sucks to hear that the YI is still hanging around I’m hoping the drug does something to help combat it…even a bit.

And as for the pelvic pain…sucky!! I’m making it day by day with my hip pain, so I’m hoping you can get some relief with the pelvic pain.

Lots of luck to you and best wishes.

    Yay! Third trimester!

I am so sorry about the yeast infection- hopefully this latest round of meds will clear it!

And I hear you on the pelvic pain. Mine got bad toward the end of my pregnancy- couldn’t get comfortable no matter what I did. Good luck getting rid of it- maybe she’ll shift positions a bit and you’ll get some relief!

Quick, go get the brown paper bag and breath in and out slowly….

I hear you on the hyperventilating–had the same reaction when they told me they’d like me to deliver by 38w5d–otherwise known as “right around the corner!”

Hope the yeasties go away soon and the pain joins it on its journey to the land of far far away.

And congrats on hitting the third trimester!
