Apres Sex = After Sex; I thought I was being clever by substituting the “after” with the French equivalent.

A foam wedge is used by some women (placed beneath the knees) to elevate their hips and thighs after sex. The belief is that the positioning/pelvic tilting will keep all the semen and sperm (hopefully) draining toward the cervix and uterus, and thus result in a pregnancy. The page I linked to when you click on the “foam wedge” describes the wedge, etc. in greater detail (it takes a while because it’s Adobe).

Wow I love your list! I can’t believe people stopped being your friend after you got cancer. That has to be one of the worst things I have ever heard. Thanks for sharing all that information. I look forward to hearing more. I have to say, after reading all that, I picture you looking like Kristy Yamaguchi.

I hope you don’t mind if I steal your list (well, not YOUR list, you know what I mean) for my blog sometime this week.

Bad Penguin / Kristin,
Thank you. The analogy I always like to use is, when you’re thrown into the deep end of the pool, you WILL learn how to swim. Well, at least you’re forced to learn. I would have had no one to talk to at school if I didn’t learn English quickly.
Re: the friend-less after cancer.. no doubt it was horrible. But I guess I found out the hard way who were my true friends.

I’ll never get tattoos either. Needles? Yuck. Anyway, I’ve got birthmarks that need removing before I start adding stuff to the canvas that is my body. Just think, and I could have married a burgeoning tattoo artist in the mid 90s. Damn, I missed out!

I’m thinking you live in Minnesota. Just a guess.

I can definitely relate to many of your “numbers”, but especially #30 and # 37. Sadly, though I wish it could be true, I can’t relate to #40!!

The fact that friends would drop you when you had cancer pisses me off.
